Hi
I was just wondering peoples views on affiliate schemes. Running one that is not joining one. I have just setup a scheme for my site offering a flat rate payout per new client and there is starting to be an uptake on it. I made sure I get full control over the approval system because as far as I am concerned advertising in the "wrong" places is bad advertising no matter how free it is. I am hoping it will improve my web presence, if not then it's gonna be the shortest affiliate scheme running ever lol.
Because I deal with expats in France, it's quite a niche market and so far the interest and sign ups have been other expat sites (forums, info, classifieds, etc).
Just really trying to get a heads up from people if they got their fingers burnt from this or found it to be quite rewarding.
