Hello all!
I see that many of you like to take a laptop on your repair jobs and was wondering what will be a "decent" laptop to purchase for that purpose.
Nothing too expensive, I was thinking something with a P3, dvdr, usb. etc just something I can use for that particulair purpose.
Thanks guys

Make sure it has usb 2.0 and the bigger the hard drive the better because you might need to back up lots of data.

Thanks gunslinger! i'll keep that in mind. Is there any other things I should look for in a laptop component wise?

I would just pick up an acer from newegg.com. Both of these would work great:
$599

$499

Thanx guys!! I'm searching on craigslist to see if I can find one with winxp installed and at least a 2.0 usb port.... if not, don't they sell usb 2.0 cards for notebooks? Does the processor really matter?
