Hi everyone! I've visited the Technibble forums before and thought I would join the fun. Some of you may know me from other forums including my own but for those who don't, my name is Rick and have been in the PC business for over ten years. I owned a brick and mortar computer store for four of them and learned everything I know about the business from the School of Hard Knocks. I currently produce and host The Force Field, a podcast for IT Service Providers and The Force Field web site.
I lived in Central Florida for 35 years and recently moved to Charlotte, NC to start fresh. I currently support some of my customers in Florida remotely, however I am searching for new opportunities in other areas and am not sure if I will stay in this field. I love computers and technology but I want to find a new niche or market. Perhaps collaboration in forums like Technibble will help me find what I am looking for.
Anyway, it's great to be here to share experiences and collaborate with other techs in the forums!
