SODIMM-144's are ridiculously expensive. I bought two 512mg chips a few months ago and it cost almost $150 with shipping because I needed a specific type.

Just FYI: Old Toshiba laptops that need SODIMM-144's can be very picky. If this is for a older Toshiba you might want to find out the return policy on ram first.

I had a Sony that was picky about it's RAM so its hard to say.
