I don't expect much interest for this, but here goes :p

I have for sale my Kawasaki ZZR600 1998 Motorbike in good condition. I'm based in Bristol,UK and I'm looking for around £1500 but am open to offers.

Good Points:
Excellent condition Mechanically - very reliable - only 17,029 miles and serviced 1 month ago (new oil + filter)
Recent new rear tyre (Fitted in June 09 @ 15,000 miles)
Oil change every 2000 miles since I have owned it
2 x Keys
MOT until June 9th 2010 - All previous MOT's too
Tax until 31st May 2010
Cheap to insure - This is my first bike and only costs me £149/year
Quick and comfortable - just like a sports tourer should be

Bad Points:

* Loose metal plate in Manifold collector box - sounds rattly when cold but stops once warmed up. I replaced the manifold a few months back which sorted the problem, but it seems to be a design fault with this make of manifold as it came loose again 3 months later. Doesn't stop the bike working in anyway, just sounds odd!
* Cosmetic damage (see pics) - The bike has been dropped once and has scratched the left side fairing and put a small dent in the petrol tank. Bad times :(
* Needs a clean! :)

Want something faster :D I love the looks of the R1, but I just need to test ride one to see how comfy they are.

Sure you can't fly over here to collect? I'll knock a bit off if you do :p You could go the "long way round" to get back home - sponsored by Technibble.

The R1 is a beast of a machine! Thats been my dream bike for a long time. I'm just afraid I'd end up killing myself on one. lol. Post pics if you get one for sure!

I used to have an R1, a honda 954 and a cbr100rr, I will tell you the R1 is the best bike of the three as far as comfort goes, but as far as reliability, the cbr1000rr is about the smoothest engine I have encounterd. I also used to sell them both as well and the honda is a great bike, cant go wrong with it. The R1 is also one heck of a bike, cant go wrong with it either!

I've decided to go the sports tourer route again, rather than an out and out sports bike. So something like a ZZR1100 or even the ZX12Rs looks quite big and comfy compared to an R1 or CBR1000. Still try to sell this 600 though :(

Damn man you need to ride more! I've got over 10k mi on my Suzuki I bought 1 year ago.

It's too cold to ride here normally :p Or it's raining...or snowing. Come to think of it, why on earth do I live in the UK?!

I don't have anyone to ride with unfortunately :( I've put 7k miles on the bike since buying it roughly 1.5 years ago which was a mixture of commuting and recreational. What suzuki do you own?
