Does anyone have any experience with the Windows Anytime Upgrades (WAU)? I'm having a pretty difficult time finding any bargain (under $600) desktop PC's for a business customer that needs 4gb RAM and Windows 7 Pro.
I do see that there's a WAU upgrade from Win7 Home to Win Pro for around $90 and it seems that I could easily buy the customer a bargain PC in the $450 range with some fairly decent hardware specs, and then upgrade from Win7 Home to Win7 Pro via WAU and get them there within their price range.
Has anyone done this? It the WAU as easy as it sounds? Just punch in a key code and Home becomes Pro ?
Any thoughts?
