A customer phones me to say he has bought a new computer but its still doing it on his new computer. Monitor company says it can't be a fault with their monitor.
I have offered to test the monitor but he has a Nvidia 250 and I have a 8600GT. I would have thought a Nvidia 250 would be more than capable? Does anybody suspect it could be a power supply issue e.g its drawing too much power when the video card is asked to display an extremely high resolution? I haven't seen the computer yet, picking up the monitor this evening.
