Greetings,

I have a PC (not in a domain) that has wireless. Windows is XP pro.
I need to RDP into it after reboot.
The PC does not connect to the wireless network until someone logs in.
Is there a way to make the windows wireless utility or any other to connect to the network prior to login in?

I've googled and the only think I can find is PEAP but that is used in a domain and this is a very small network.

Thank you

Just set an auto login profile? Does the computer need to be tamperproof?

Yes it it has to be tamperproof so auto login cant be used.

I switched to the windows utility and it works like its supposed to. The PC was using the intel wireless utility and it would not really do its job.

Allow the computer to autologon and run a batch file on startup to lock the computer.

How can your computer get connected to some network without Logged on I think you have to enable Auto Logon option.

I was very tired when I asked the question. I later realised that I needed to use the windows wireless utility. Since the utiliity relies on the windows zero configuration it make the connection to the default preferred network.

As a result no one need to be logged on and this allows me to RDP into the PC.
