Microsoft has announced that a serious flaw has been found in their software, Microsoft Word.

The affected versions are Word 2000, Word 2002, Office Word 2003, and Word Viewer 2003 for Windows operating systems. For Mac, the affected versions are Word 2004 and Word 2004 v.X.

Some of Microsoft’s other suite called Works are also affected. The affected versions are 2004, 2005, and 2006.

The flaw tricks users on opening malicious word files which would compromise their systems.
