When the “Hack a Mac” contest was held a few days ago, it revealed a flaw on Apple’s Safari internet browser. Now, Networkworld.com has made a report that the flaw also affects Mozilla’s Firefox on Windows operating systems and for Apple OS X operating system.

An article at mac.blorge.com says that this exploit is almost as serious as the ANI (animated cursor) bug for Windows. Although Microsoft has released a patch for this bug, it is still unstable on some computer systems.

The Quicktime Media Player along with Java programming are the two main components of the flaw.
