Next tuesday, Microsoft will released eight patches for Windows, Internet Explorer, and their other products according to today’s post at Computerworld.

One of the eight patches is designed to fix an eight-month-old flaw in Windows. “The bulletin Microsoft marked ‘Windows 1′ looks like the issue in the 951306 advisory,” said Andrew Storms of nCircle Network Security Inc.

There is also a SharePoint patch. “We don’t see that very often, and it could be interesting because it’s on the server side,” said Wolfgang Kandek of Qualys Inc.
