Computer maker, Dell, will still sell Windows XP beyond the June 30 Microsoft sales cutoff date according to a confirmed report by Info World.
If users opt for an XP version, it will still be considered the same thing as buying a Vista license and Microsoft will claim it as a sale of their Vista operating system. They will also receive a Vista DVD installation disc when they purchase their computers with XP so that they can install Vista over it in the future in case they want to switch to it later on.
The Vostro and Dell XPS gaming systems has an additional small fee for XP systems although the other computer models do not have a fee.
