Codeweavers has released version 8.0 of CrossOver Games, a software that is designed to play Windows games on Mac operating systems.

Some of the new games that are now supported are Dragon Sky, Jade Empire, Left 4 Dead, and Tales of Monkey Island.

“Under the hood” improvements have also been made. This means better frame rates and more enjoyable experience.

The cost of the software is $40 and it is available to be downloaded by those users with an active “support entitlement.” It is derived from the open-source WINE project according to the article at Macworld
