A vulnerability has been found in Microsoft Powerpoint which hackers can exploit to comprimise a users system.
The vulnerability is caused by an error when processing Powerpoint documents which contained a malformed string. This can be exploited so that it corrupts system memory and may allow code execution when a Powerpoint document is opened.
This vulnerability HAS been reported to be expoited in the wild. There is currently no patch so avoid opening untrusted office documents.
