eWeek.com has released a report that brand new Hewlett Packard notebook computers has a flaw in its built-in patch management utility.

The person who discovered it was a Polish security researcher and he plans to issue an alert that contains the exploit code so that he can demonstrate the impact of the flaw.

The bug let an attacker launch remote attacks on HP notebooks which are running Internet Explorer.

eWeek notes that in their article that this is the third time that HP had this kind of problem this year. The two previous occurrences were one week ago and six months ago.
