A new version of Boot Camp has been released. There are different versions for each of the Windows XP and Vista operating systems. Therefore, there is a version for XP and a 32-bit and 64-bit versions for Vista.
The file size is over 200 MB and users can download it Apple’s Support site. Apple notes that this version, “Addresses issues and improves compatibility with (the relevant supported Windows installation) Microsoft running on a Mac computer using Boot Camp.”
For those who will install XP with SP3 in the future, they need to install this version of Boot Camp, which is version 2.1, before they can complete the XP SP3 installation.
