Blue Screen of Death

n the opening ceremony of the 2008 summer olympics in Beijing, China, the error screen of a Windows computer known as the “the blue screen of death” appeared on the Bird’s Nest according to various web sites. It occurred when the Olympic flame was being lit.

According to PC World, the PC in the stadium that is being used to project images around the stadium ran into some problems. The article notes that this situation also occurred on an NBC broadcast. The article gives credit to Gizmondo for reporting these events.

There are two images that are attached in the article which shows the errors.

Looks like the noobs are the Chinese! Guess they should have tested it first. Went into standby waiting for ceremony start. HAHA.
