Users that use Symantec’s AntiVirus Corporate Edition and Client Security are being attacked by worms according to CNET.
The worms target a vulnerability that Symantec already patched seven months ago. However, the patch has to be downloaded and installed manually unlike other editions where the patches can be installed automatically. Therefore, the ones who are in trouble are the ones who did not update their Symantec products for a long time.
The affected PCs process denial of service attacks and sends out spam.
