Adobe has released a patch for the flaw that was recently found on their Reader software which is used by users who view .pdf files.
The flaw affects versions 6 and 7. The flaw let attackers trick users on opening malformed PDF files so they (the users) can be exposed to malware. Piotr Bania is the person who is credited on discovering the flaw.
Uprading to version 7.0.9 or to version 8 fixes the problem but an upgrade to version 8 is better since the newer version also fixes more vulnerabilites.
